sympoiesis

I am so excited to be part of the part of the Sympoiesis network - an inquisitive web of artists and researchers working towards around interspecies communication and kinship.

Our activities include the development of AI-Avatars for more-than-human entities, haptic wearables to listen to plants, dogs that can sniff out cancer, workshops on embodying the future, regenerative agriculture, and multimedia solarpunk sci-fi stories (e.g. a documentary about donkeys, a guide for the creation of more-than human characters, and more).

"Symbiosis (from Greek "living together") is any type of close and long-term biological interaction between organisms of different species."

"Poiesis can be understood as the bringing-forth of the (unseen) true nature of things."

Sympoiesis then represents the emergence of the imperceptible via the making-with other living beings.

Currently, Sympoiesis exists as a force field attracting like-hearted souls around interspecies synesthesia through Art & Science.
