Danilo Vaz and I created an AI-embedded sculpture and public dialogue platform that renders a glimpse of the Lahn's living ecosystem into something humans can perceive.
Any such rendering is unavoidably partial, filtered through our own assumptions; an Avatar does not give a river its voice. What it can do is attune us to the voices already there, drowned out by city noise and our busy minds, and a carefully made approximation, however incomplete, can open a pathway back into relationship with the beyond-human.
